At Texas A&M, there are several honors programs. As an incoming business student, you can participate in both the University Honors Program and Business Honors or you can choose to participate in just one or the other. However, it is important to note that while the University Honors Program does not have an application process, Business Honors does.
Business Honors is designed specifically with business students in mind. Once selected for the program, we offer you easy access to your business honors classes and individual support that will help prepare you for a career in business.
Through University Honors, you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of honors classes throughout the university curriculum. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to become a University Scholar, complete a research project through the University Fellows Program, and apply for national and international scholarships such as Rhodes, Marshall, and Fullbright.
There is no application process for University Honors. Students who meet the criteria are eligible to register for honors classes and to take advantage of the opportunities offered through their office. To learn more about University Honors, visit their website.
We encourage you to take advantage of both University Honors and Business Honors. Please remember that being qualified for University Honors will guarantee you a spot in their program, but you must indicate on your ApplyTexas application that you wish to be considered for selection to Business Honors.
