Incoming Freshmen

It has never been easier to apply to Business Honors.

As you complete your ApplyTexas Application, select business (BUAD or BUAG) as your first choice of major and, on the Business Honors section, indicate that you are interested in being considered for the program. After you submit your ApplyTexas application to Texas A&M, have your high school send a copy of your transcript to the Office of Admissions. We also require that you have at least one letter of recommendation submitted to the Office of Admissions. Their address is:

Freshman Admissions Processing
Texas A&M University
PO Box 30014
College Station, TX 77842-3014

We will use your ApplyTexas application and the materials you send to the Office of Admissions to review you as an applicant for Business Honors. Please do not send any additional materials to our office; we will be reviewing applications online and cannot accommodate supplemental documents.

The selection process for Business Honors is separate from the admission process for Texas A&M, and being admitted to Texas A&M as a business major does not guarantee selection to BH.  Notification of selection to BH is mailed separately from the A&M admission decision.

Additionally, prospective students should be aware that Business Honors is separate from the University Honors Program.  University Honors has no formal application process; if you meet the established requirements, you may participate.  Business Honors does have an application process and selection for Business Honors is only available to students who indicate on the ApplyTexas application that they want to be considered for the program.
